NM Census records living with his widowed daughter Lou GILES and her 6 children. It is my understanding that Andrew and his wife Persenta "Sithey" Elizabeth accompanied him to Curry Co. from
Columbia Co., Arkansas, and that she died in Curry Co. prior to the 1910 Census. I am trying to find information about the place of death and burial of both Andrew and Sithey. Some say he moved from Curry Co to TIllman Co., OK with another daughter Alice GILES and died there in 1920 but no record to support that information has been found. She was married to Lawrence Callie NICKELL and they lived about five miles South of Clovis in Curry Co., NM. Ellen was born 4 Jun 1881 in TX and died in 1929. NICKELL, died of Intestinal Flu while visiting Lawrence and Ellen in Curry Co., NM in May of 1929. I am wondering if there might have been a Flu epidenic in NM in 1929 and after taking care of Mrs. Nickell, Ellen became ill and also died. I can't find any information that will tell me where Ellen died or is buried. If anyone has any information or suggestions, I would appreciate hearing from you. I am looking for information on my mothers adoption the information I have is that she was born May 5, 1934 possibly in Texas or Curry county her Birth name was Mildred Jean Hines Parents were Harrold H. Hines and Elene Wennona Robertson. The Adoption Took place from New Mexico, we believe from the Clovis area or Curry County the Birth record was from Texas but she was not put up for adoption until 1936 two years after her birth . Her Name was changed upon adoption to Judith Darr She has since Died in 1998 and any information she might have known went with her my siblings and I are very interested in the history of our birth grandparents any information would be greatly appreciated. I believe he was born in 1921 or 1922 and may have died in 1990. He lived in Milam County, Texas and later in or around Clovis, NM. I do know he was in the army and stationed at Ft. I believe he first married Della FITE in Texas, and their children were: Ella, Mary, Hollie, and Nollie. It is my belief that after the death of his first wife, he moved with his children to Curry County, and married an Elizabeth ????. Their children were: Ethel, Henry, Ben, Lee, and Lynn. Chesley E. WORRELL, born 31 Jan 1889, died 12 Jan 1970 in Curry County, New Mexico. He was married to Josephine Dannelly, born 16 Jan 1893, died either 15 or 16 March 1982 in Curry County, New Mexico. Josephine was my first cousin once removed. I would like to find any census data on this family including any children born to them. I do have one note of a son born on 27 Oct 1916 in Eddy County, New Mexico, but I do not have a name I have found listings in the Curry County, New Mexico Abstracts of Obituaries of others named Worral, Worrall, or Worrell, but do not know if they are related to Chesley E.
