Grace Alice TATE was born 4-13-1889 in Gainsville, (I think it was Cooke
County) Texas. She died in Hemet, Riverside Co., California on August 13,
1973. Grace married Glaves L. FIRESTONE (not sure when or where, but prior
to 1918). Glaves also died in Hemet, Riverside Co., California. Both are
buried at the San Jacinto Valley Cemetery in San Jacinto, Riverside Co.,
California. Glaves and Grace had two children: Nollis and Hayden. Nollis
was born in Melrose, Curry Co., New Mexico. Glaves was born in Stockton,
Cedar Co., Missouri. But came to Curry Co., New Mexico with his father
Michael Christopher Firestone in 1907. In 1920 Census, Glaves was living
alone, but Nollis was born 7-18-1918. So I am not sure where Grace and
Nollis were in 1920. I have lots of information on Michael Christopher and
his wife Myrtle, but not much on Grace Alice TATE.
My husband's grandfather was Nollis. I am looking for information on Grace's
parents and siblings. I do not know when or where Grace and Glaves were
married either. The only thing that I know of is that Grace has a brother
named "Fred" maybe?? My mother-in-law is very unsure. Nollis died when she
was only 16. So, we do not know a lot about Grace. Hoping someone can help

Her father was Robert Emmett Sheridan and her mother was Alice Melinda Stout. Her husband was William E. Rice of Endee, New Mexico. Bob was in the army, stationed in NM, and from there was sent to England, where later he was injured and returned to US. We have no idea what became of Lena and know very little about her.
